Olea and Tommy were out of bed first probably because Jake and Ammon stayed up late with me the night before. The kids also seemed to be happy with their gifts. The older kids are getting harder to buy for because they aren't into toys anymore. Ammon got 2 xbox games with some added bits and pieces, Jacob got a fishing rod, tackle box, ripstic, and so on, Tommy got toys galore because he still loves to play with his little soldiers and cars, Olea did exceptionally well this Christmas with a huge Victorian wooden doll house, scooter and toys galore. Poor Jared got the usual surf teeshirt and fishing rod because the things he likes such as coins I cannot get because I have no clue which ones he has and which ones he hasn't. This year I got a beautiful diamond and pink saffire ring that I have always wanted. I also got
a portable table thingy to put my laptop on and a battery recharger for my mouse. Jared is great at choosing things I never would have thought of buying.
We bought Anne-Marie a nurses watch with her name engraved on it, a spongebob t-shirt and a spongebob dvd. As you can probably tell she LOVES spongebob.
Jared's friend came around for Christmas lunch and bought us a gift voucher. We ate so much food we were feeling quite ill by the end of the day, especially me!
Anne-Marie and I decided to take the kids to Maree Pool (water hole) in the afternoon while Jared had a nap. We met up with some friends and stayed till nightfall. We are now trying to organize our boxing day party while the kids are winding down.
Oh it sounds like such a fun day. Did Olea like her doll house? Looks lovely.. good joub. tried to call Jay's mobile, but got no reception or something like that. Anyway, glad that you had a great day.. we were thinking of you. Actually i was REALLY wanting to call you all at 8.30am our time, but Andrew told me know as it would have been mean to wake you all up.. hahaha!! Sounds like you were awake anyway.
